Aria DeMaris Voiceover and Accents Workshop

Standard British & American Accents & Voiceover Workshop

Hi, I’m Aria! A passionate accent coach, voice actor, and your dedicated partner on this exciting journey.

I’ve always been drawn to voices. As a child, I was a chameleon. Slipping into other voices felt natural, playful, safe. Using my own voice, fully and freely? That was harder. It often felt safer to perform than to be truly heard.

That early relationship with voice, (expression paired with hesitation) became the quiet thread that shaped everything I do today.

I trained as an actor in New York at the Stella Adler Studio, the Neighborhood Playhouse, and The Actors Studio, and later in England at City Academy. Over time, I built a career across film, television, voiceover, and live performance, while deepening my work as a dialect coach. I studied with leading coaches worldwide and learned accents through listening, immersion, and I never take that lightly.

For over 15 years, I’ve coached actors and professionals one-on-one, worked on major productions, collaborated with global brands, and taught in schools and organizations. From artists to doctors, lawyers, and leaders, more than 1,000 students have trusted me with their voices. Something I never take lightly.

During and after the pandemic, I noticed something deeper emerge. People weren’t just coming to refine sounds; many came feeling unseen, unheard, or disconnected from their voice. Holding space for fear, tension, and exhaustion changed me, and expanded my understanding of what voice truly is.

Today, my work bridges craft, awareness, and care. Accent and dialect coaching remain the foundation, grounded in phonetics, history, and performance technique. Alongside that, I offer voice empowerment work that explores the emotional, nervous-system, and energetic layers of expression.

Some come for skill. Some come for clarity. Some come to feel safe enough to speak again, or for the first time. My role isn’t to fix your voice. It’s to help you listen to it and trust it. Your voice isn’t a problem to solve. It’s a relationship to rebuild.
